Easter 2020

In response to COVID-19 several La Grande pastors have joined forces with the local radio station to record and broadcast a collaborative Easter Service. This website will serve as a digital liturgy providing Scripture references and song lyrics to the citizens of Union and Baker counties as we "gather together separately" for Easter this year.

God's Word reminds us in 2 Timothy 1:7 that God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power, love, self-control, sound judgement. While a pandemic of this scale forces us all to face our mortality, Christians can respond in confidence because Jesus (God who became man) has defeated death itself through His crucifixion and resurrection. The grave could not hold Him. Through faith in Jesus God gives new life that is eternal. That eternality starts now and you are invited into it.

Join us this Easter Sunday to hear the message of hope in Christ, the Gospel, the Good News of Jesus who died to give you life and rose again so that you are made alive through faith in Him.
